Cant seem to supercharge FSD

Hi,

I've tried several times now to supercharge my FSD using a white dwarf, with no success.

I get the message saying that the drive is under significant gravitational strain (this gets displayed several times), but nothing more.

I've flown through the tails of a white dwarf for so long I might as well have simply jumped the distance normally.

I've tried following an online guide on how to do this as well.

I've got to the point where its not worth trying.

Am I missing something?

The White Dwarfs are a pain at the moment. There's a Beta bug report, also.

It's probably not worth the effort on the White Dwarfs, as they will only boost you about 50% and do a few % damage to your FSD, if you get a boost at all.

However, entering the upper half of the vortex for a neutron star is well worthwhile and is working. Make sure you enter pointing away from the center and approximately where the vortex changes from light blue to a darker blue, and go slowly. Stick in it for a few seconds, then blast out the side and get away. It boosts your FSD to give you 400% jump range.

And yes, you need a fuel scoop fitted.

What!!! A fuel scoop! I didn't know you needed one of those (how do you find that out??)

Thanks for the info.

Does any fuel scoop do? Would a better class of one supercharge you further?
