? Can't select planets in galaxy map!

EDIT - False alarm, I just learned the hard way that un-selecting Show Grid on the map hides the cursor as well, I must have accidently selected that option.

Also pay attention switching between lateral mode/vertical mode re: cursor movement on Galmap (x button). If you switch to system map whilst the galmap cursor is in vertical mode, you can't move the cursor in the system map.

This right here. That used the drive me insane

Me too. I hope FD have plans to improve the galaxy/system maps at some point, plenty of room for improvement there.

yeah i hate the galaxy map;

Clicking "open in galaxy map" dont work,
You cant move around the planets in the galaxy map to select them easily
the map usually goes "off-line" and you cant select planets in systems no more
Occasionally you plot a route and when you try and engage FSD it states "cant engage FSD Fuel limit exceeds 5.0T" or some nonsense to that effect.

of course there are workarounds (off/on etc) but hopefully they will fix them :)

1. "open galmap" in transactions screen will work if you're docked, and have the Starport Services screen open. It will also work if you click "open galmap" in transactions, then open the galmap manually from the nav screen.

2. You probably plotted your route BEFORE taking on cargo or fuel. Jumps are plotted based on your current mass, so always gas up and load cargo first.
