Can't sell commodity

Edit: I just tried to sell at the local station and am having exactly the same bug. Seems I can't sell at all.

OP: I've mined some Painite and visited three fleet carriers in an attempt to sell it. They are all buying Painite with sufficient demand to cover my cargo but when I click sell, the dialogue disappears and nothing happens. It doesn't matter whether I try to sell my whole cargo or just one ton, it just won't work.

I've managed to refuel, rearm and repair at the carriers so it just seems to be the commodity selling which is broken.

I found references to a similar problem from posts in late June but the only bug report I could find is listed as 'Fixed', and the only suggested solutions were to try selling in different amounts - which is not working either. I've also tried in Solo, Open and Private as well as completed exited the game.

carriers only buy and sell goods if the player who owns it has set it to trade
unfortunately there is no way to tell if "that players shop" so to speak is actually open for business ATM
trading at stations or bases however they are always open even on Christmas day

As you can see in the screen cap the carriers were buying painite in the necessary quantities and the sell dialogue was available, it just wasn't working. It wasn't working at the local stations either.

In the end I travelled >100ly to a different station and was able to sell there.
