Can't transfer modules from engineer bases?

I had a modified MC for my FAS that I stored at Todd the haircut Mcquinn from my FAS. I flew al the way to Maia to do the cg when I noticed was was missing a weapon. Went back to Maia Point planetary base which has outfitting but when I went to the hardpoint section there was no option to transfer modules. I could store and swap modules bought from that station but couldn't transfer items from todds place.

I had to go all the way back to the nearest station in 64 Arietis. Again couldn't transfer my module. So I had to transfer my asp which has a higher jump range to my FAS and fly all the way to todds base, for the module in question on my asp, and fly back to 64 Arietis and enter outfitting, store the modified MC, switch back to my FAS and refit it.

So what happened? Is this a bug or can you not transfer modules from engineers?

Haven't transferred any modules yet, but there is no ship transfer either at an engineers base, merely because its a function belonging to a shipyard and there is no shipyard at a base.

It's not under shipyard, it's under outfitting

You have to go to the module storage option at the bottom of the outfitting screen. It should be a little below core and optional internals just after "livery".

From there you will see a list of the x/60 modules that you have in storage across the galaxy. The transfer time is always 37 minutes regardless of distance, though I haven't tried to store any modules at Jaques yet ;)

Hm, transfer time varies with distance (same like Ships from the looks of it).

My last Modules (G5 Collector/Prospector Modded) sent from Tiana Fortune back home take over an hour, stuff from a 30LY distant HighTech Station is the expected 10 Minutes.

Interesting! Maybe I had a glitch? Or maybe I was just magically equidistant from my storage locations? Huh.

Hard to tell actually, when I looked closer at it today I did notice some weird anomalies on these times. Seen "37 Minutes" on Distances I would have expected time to be far longer - at other locations the times were normal/as expected (?)
Can't really make a pattern of it (too spurious), but there's definitely something odd about it.

So in the end, you might be onto something indeed.

Recently transferred a bunch of weapons. Time indicated was 5 mins so I sent them all off and starting reading the forums. Half an hour later when I came back to the game, the timers were reading 4 mins!

I lost one of the 3 thrusters I transfered to/from Palin, of the 2x 7D and 1x 7A I transfered only 1x 7D and 7A made the transfers. Which is a shame because the 7D had a nice tier 5 dirty drive upgrade.

Don't trust the module storage transfers until they work out the bugs.
