Newcomer / Intro Can't turn on 'Report Crimes Against Me'

Yes. Goto your Systems Panel > Functions > Enable there.

It will not let me, that's how I turned it off but now I can not toggle it back on.

Tried everything you said, nothing I can't change only 3 values - brightness of the ship interface, orbit lanes and report crimes against me. Others work OK. Why?

The only thing that worked for me was to delete the player folder. On my system it is at: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Player

Then restart ED. Your bindings should be left intact.

I figured it out, kind of...

I went into the settings file and changed it there in the game directory.

My apologies, I misunderstood your situation. Please open a ticket with Frontier so they can put it in the future bug fixes list.

I guess so? Like the other guy, I can change almost everything. There's only a few that I can't change in game.

But maybe for some buttons it needs to write to the files and you might need to run the game, by right clicking on the ED icon and run as administrator.
