Cant use Workshop items

Hi all,

Just bought the game few days ago and so far havent got really far yet, as i cant get Workshop items to work.
I go to Workshop, subscribe what i want, go back to game and theres just a picture of a lock where the item should be.
I have tried to subscribe many items and out of 30 only 2 seems to work correctly.

Hello,

I suspect you are playing a scenario? You need to have all scenary unlocked to have access to all blueprints. In scenarios, this requires researching and I am not even sure if you can unlock everything in each one. If you want to build freely with blueprints, Sandbox or Challenge mode is the way forward. That being said, you can use some blueprints, but you must have access to all scenary types used in the piece, if that makes sense.

Thanks for the answer. But when i check my research tab, theres nothing to research?

Try playing in sandbox mode - you should have everything (including workshop items)

As far as I know, that depends on the scenario which scenery/ride/coaster you can research and which not.
