Cant use Xbox controller per bluetooth

Hello, i recently bought a Xbox one wireless controller. I played with a x360 before. If I connect my Xbox one co troller per USB the game recognizes the controller fine and I can also see the gamepad presets. But if I connect via Bluetooth the game doesn't recognize the controller and also doesn't show the gamepad presets. The controller is working fine in EVERY other game when connected to Bluetooth. I even updated the controllers firmware.

Had someone the same issue and can help me how to get this work?

Check the MS forums - the XBox controllers are very delicate if you want to use them over BT. The only wireless connection that works (somewhat) reliably is via the MS/XBox dongle.

I have sometimes find mine randomly disconnects on pc so have returned to my x52 pro. It seemed it was when I had bluetooth earbuds in too...not certain that was the cause. Works fine on my xbox though.

The wireless connection with Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 is very reliable in my opinion. This is exactly how I game and I play even in a different room and the dongle picks up the signal very extremely well. I highly recommend.

I also had Bluetooth issues with Xbox one controller but it all went away when I got the wireless adapter. It's well worth the money if you plan on gaming with an Xbox controller.

i used the 360 wireless no issues.
thie issue i think your having is. your BT/wireless pad is secondary. wired is 1st.
to resolve open device man, in view tab show hidden devices and remove your controlers on BT control settings check what is connected and removed wired pad, if showing. remove BT/wireless. then connect pad via BT. the game will now see BTpad first. also make sure to power up the pad prior to starting elite
