Curiosity really, but can anyone give me a rough figure of the jumprange of the capital class ships in ED lore?
I haven't the slightest clue but to venture a guess I'd first say pretty low (10ly or fewer). But then again, seeing as capital ships are government and military vessles I'd assume they have access to more advanced frame shift drives than the general public.
My best guess would be around 15ly.
Recently I've been interested in reading some of the books that are recognized cannon to the ED timeline, but I haven't gotten around to that yet.
*Goes to work trying to steal the Station FSD and bolt it to his Viper.*

What do you mean? Cut it off at the ring then bolt the Viper to it.
Ah.. ok I see now. So instead of a trillion tons its only 500 billion tons. Utter genius.![]()
Yup. That way you could jump twice as far, right?![]()
