Capital Ship

Yeah, there's plenty of Majestic-classes at the Imperial core systems.

I've yet to run into a capship, or capship on capship fight, in a Conflict Zone, though.

Me too, seen the youtube vids yet to catch it though, I've never seen an Empire Capital Ship, might need to spend more time in their space.

Once I saw an interdictor called FNS RECLUSE launching condors at a Farragout named INV ALINE DUVAL who was returning fire with imp fighters...

I am still confused.

I got too close to a Cap ship once...I ignored the warnings. Next thing I knew, rebuy screen!!
Heh, I saw my first - and thus far only - capital ship just the other day; a Farragut in the Procyon system above a garden world (Procyon B 5). I had one initial warning, and heeded it... I could safely hang back around 2.65km from it, and spent a fair while taking pics and watching ships launch.

It's rare, but Capships CAN change hands. I've seen a stolen Farragut crewed by Pirates once.

There was a whole Galnet thing about a Farragut disappearing then someone found a Farragut under the faction "Pirate". Crazy stuff. That means they not only had access to a capital ship, but it's entire fighter complement.

Hope someday we get them, but not likely. It wouldn't make sense for freelance pilots to get something like Capital Ships. But if NPC pirates can capture them...heh.

Let's just say Piracy would become a much more popular profession.

I would say why just stick to the faction capital ship I'm sure there is room to have large ships on say the frigate or destroyer level or merchant cruisers even. I have always been a advocate for large ships like bulk cargo ships or say decommissioned older style naval vessels that have been bought by companies for anything from simple breakers fees or needed for conversions into industrial use.

Capital Ship (FED) in 19 Phi-2 Ceti my home system, seems to be quite common, first one I saw in game was in this system and this will be the 4th time ones parked up, great system too for anyone thinking of flying in to visit, Crick City is a fully functioning station and sits 0.19 ls from a juicy Haz-Res, capital ship is 0.22 ls from both station and Haz-Res.

Thanks for the heads up! I jumped over to check it out last night, as my home system is only two jumps away. Oddly enough, it was named something different. It was the "Farragut class battlecruiser - Repulse" I thought it was odd that the name changed.

On my PC account, I have never seen a capital ship.

Backwater systems are cool like that.

Not a problem, That system draws them in quite often, I guess once you have seen it once you have seen it ten times, I still haven't seen an Empire one however I'm spending some time trading Empire space so maybe I'll catch one.

I found that system while running merits for the feds, decided to make it home, good BH sites close AF to the station, and just throws money at me each visit, annies and fdl's galore, 8m on my last outing, back re-arm and go again for another 6m. Off trying trading now tho get my rank up.

It may be possible that someone forced the other one to jump and another one took it's place in that location.

If you wanna get lore-heavy, the first Farragut was damaged by a rogue pilot, forcing it to escape for repairs, and the FNS Repulse took its post for the time being.
