Capital ships

Hey guys, haven't played in months but yesterday i tried the wing feature and got hooked on elite again.

I would love to take on a capital ship with a wingmate.... Bur where can i find a capital ship in a conflict zone again???

They have a small chance of spawning in high intensity conflict zones that has empire or fed involvement, as far as I understand it.

i think there is one always orbiting earth in sol and i have seen some systems which always have capital ship orbiting planet. But these aren´t in combat and just sit there. Try use galnets list of systems/factions in war/civil war, look if its part of Federation or empire and if it is then go there to high intensity conflict zones, you may find one. Or not.

they are rare and hard to find and got a random spawn chance.
if you want to have some fun whit a wingmate i would recommend Strong signal sources instead, quite often you can run into multiple Elite Anacondas in them, the next best thing after capitals

I used to go to a system (the first one with the onion drug) and there were several capital ships at fixed locations they would spawn all the time and it was so cool. unhappy to ear you need to be lucky they spawn

ah yea, i guess that was the Kappa fornacis blockade.
there are events like that from time to time when they appear more often, but right now im not aware that there are any events that makes them spawn.
keep your eyes on the galnet stories and look out for any news involving the fed or the imperial navy though, since it was awhile since last i guess its about time they make an appearance again soon.
