Capital Ships

I've never seen a Capital Ship in game since Beta.
Is there a updated list somewhere with up to date places where they are? :D

We should have a capital ship "storm chasers" OT.

That said, just be aware that Cap ships killsteal like a human CMDR at a RES site. It's pretty obnoxious. Worth seeing, but you won't want to fight along side one if you want to make credits. If a capital ship attacks your target, you can be sure you won't get the kill credit.

5 seconds on google will answer your question. There also used to be a website somewhere that tracked ship locations.

I took this about a month ago. As always, i did not have a clue what I was meant to be doing, as you will see.

No, google didn't answer my question. I got 200+ answers related to Capital Ships or not very current stuff about theirs whereabouts. That's why I asked here.

I got this link http://infolimpet.tk/conflicts from a dude on facebook, but don know how accurate it is because ive seen lots of conflict zones that's not on the list the last couple of days. And it doesn't really tell if there's Capital Ships present.

EDIT: The tool on the link actually tell if theres a CS present, if a player reported it that is. Hust click on the CZ and it will show info about the zone and if theres a CS present. I will go for some "storm hunting" :)

Saw one yesterday near LHS 3885, can't recall the system. We should have captain's logs that record which systems we've visited. Oddly there's nothing like that.

True that, a built in Captains log should be in game. I'm using Slopey's Tool for that though. It remembers all my traveling and i can put in notes.

It does tell you if capital ships are present - You need to click on the conflict. The date also tells you if it is active or not.

I also just did a google search and tons of links came up, they may be out of date but it's a start. You can also head to Fed and Imperial homeworlds and military systems to find capital ships in orbit around planets. The imperial military systems need permits

EDIT-looks like you have figured out how to use the site

Thx, yes there are some stationary ones, but i really wanna see them in combat. :b
I'll go and hunt some and try to keep that list on the link updated.

There are a couple right now in Facece. You see them listed as a distinct destination contact in super-cruise.

So instead of "Conflict zone [low intensity]" you'll see "Capital Ship".

While they are always found at systems in conflict, the presence of conflict doesn't guarantee the appearance of capital ships.

Like "white/pink" stations, there isn't currently a definitive list.

Ah, no , a permit is needed for that system! Any Cap Ships in permit free systems?

The Farragut Class 'FNS Nevermore' is still stationed next to Hudson dock in 'BD+03 2338' The ship has been there for months since the friendly fire incident.

Edit - Don't get close, the ship and station will open fire.

Awesome, is it possible to attack it and drive it away? Or will it simply blow us up?

So, for the sake of a further few seconds, you could have helped this polite poster with his enquiry.

In fact, if you had chosen not to post the dismissive, and done it yourself then provided a link, you would probably have saved time over all.

Pointing some one to google is a valid response.
