That ship hits like a wet paper bag.
well, i did both enjoyed both. if you fight alongside, they often "kill steal", but it is very satisfying, to kill corvettes/cutters in your courier, after cap ships have taken down their shields and they are running.
if you fighting against them, it is a great game to zip around them , and shoot the defenders.
Any chance of capital ships being playable?

Personally I go from a view that capital ships irl are battleships / battle cruisers or aircraft carriers with a displacement of over 20,000 tons so a cutter at 1100 is a size of a naval corvette which is anything from 500 to 2000 tons no where near the capital ship of awesomeness. We are in blockade runners pretending we are star destroyers. Would like to see frigate to cruiser size ships in game
Yep, same here. On my usually tank-like FAS I was down to 60% hull before I knew what had hit me. I got out, repaired and went back in. This time I fought for the side with the Capital Ship present!
Worst pilot ever, but he takes out a capital ship on his own...

When a fighter class vessel (yes, Vettes are Heavy Fighters/ Command Posts) can route either of the Capital Class vessels it becomes an issue of air superiority. Its why you never see Large Bomber planes without an escort or out at all with enemy aircraft about. The more power you can pack into a smaller shot package the better, it's also why my Vette never leaves a CZ without the INS 'Favoil', 'Hengst Duval', or 'Atticus Duval' etc. leaving first (somebody's gotta protect it).
When I think capital ships I think multiple commanders to take it on. Not 1 person should be able to kill it alone imo.
that's why they should have more big ships, a battleship would have escort vessels probably two curiser and or couple of destroyers as proven in ww2 ships are vulnerable to aircraft. Imagine someones little face as the see a battleship go to do their attack run and in pops a destroyer which is configured for air defence
