I've been playing gamma a fair bit and found a few good trade routes. The first one, i started to encounter other players docking at the same station, about a day later the profit margins were really poor so I decided to move on further to the edges of populated space. I found a route where I can make over 1500 per ton per destination. As I slowly work through the demand/supply the profit decreases slightly each run. I NEVER see any other players docking at the systems i've been playing in, does that mean I'm the only person trading in this sector/systems? Or do the different servers impact a 'global commodity market" and there are players trading the same stuff but I just don't get to see them/interact with them?
The real question I am leading up to, is will there be a 'rush' on these good trade routes on release/wipe day? Will eventually the market 'stabilize' so all the newbies or "slower" traders end up having to trade $300-$500 per ton essentially making them progress much much slower than those who managed to suck the demand dry in these good trade routes purely because they got there first?
