So what exactly is the deal when you see one nearby near a conflict zone ??? Anyone dropped near one of these recently???

I've seen a few before. Never got close, and never tried to engage. They're just there to wreck shtacko. They really help if you're allied with their faction while bounty hunting in a R.E.S., lol. Easy money!

I've run into a Majestic-Class in Achenar, but it was just holding position orbiting a planet. I don't think they enter conflict zones yet (they do on PC, not Xbox One I THINK. I may be wrong. Anyone confirm/deny?).
The one im near is also parked , just outside 2 high intensity cz... jus wondering if hes planning to crash the parties lol
I have been in a few hight intensity conflict zones that had capital ships whaling on the enemy but recently they don't seem to join the fight anymore don't know why
They can Enter High Intensity conflict zones, though when they do they make that High intensity zone very one sided
Whatever the case, you can't destroy them. They do have some kind of cooling pylon system though. Destroying them forces it to retreat, and nets you 50k cr.
There's always one at SOL when I go(I;m on Xbox). I didn't know what it was it was at first, so I I went over to it to take a close look. I did a scan on various parts of it to realise it has many VERY BIG GUNS, and then I got a msg saying to leave or those big guns were going to turn me back to star dust, so I ran like a scared a child LOL

I've seen multiple videos of people going up to the Majestic Class before while its been docked. Very interesting. But you can get close enough to the Fed one before it starts firing.

no. it asks you to leave, even if you are allied and have ranks in federal navy.
search for systems at war with one federal faction fighting a non-federal faction, there they often show up.
There used to be fairly frequent missions to go and protect / finish off a stranded capital ship in systems with conflict zones, however I've not seen one on the PC for ages - shame as they can be a real challenge!
