Cargo disappearing when transferring from fleet carrier

Hello folks,

Just wondering if anyone else has suffered from this issue before I raise a ticket?

As the title says; I tried to transfer cargo from carrier to ship, but instead of transferring, it all disappeared into thin air, with 1 silver being left on the carrier. I tried to move something like 80 silver and 130 gold, and was left with just one ton of silver :(

For context; I'm stone cold sober and never had this happen before. And no, I didn't destroy the cargo by mistake.

close and reopen the station market menu. Also you should transfer via buy and sell orders, not the transfer tab. things are all manner of messed up regarding carrier-ship cargo

I still transfer directly from FC, but I now leave just 1 ton on the carrier, and it seems to work okay. It's when you transfer all of an item the problems begin.

Usually fixes it.

OP would probably do well to have a look at @Scoob's thread "Where's my Platinum".

Most of the time you can just look at an FC's Commodity Market to get your ship's cargo to update.
My guess would be that's 'cos the CM displays how much cargo you have and how much space you have remaining, which forces the game to update everything.
Seems like, at times, this bug can be more persistent, though, and just refuses to go away. 😟

yep its pretty borked, it did work once this afternoon but now im just getting these errors after attempting to transfer something from my FC.
im guesing its got something to do with server load, the graph on inara for the community goal contributions is moving to the tip now.

I was playing today and I think this last update might have fixed it. I’ll confirm the next time I log in though.

Unfortunately definitely still a thing... I tried to transfer some stuff from my carrier to my ship. It worked the first time when I didn't transfer it all, but then i couldn't transfer anymore (so i moved 100, and that went, and then i went to move another 100, and it disappeared and didn't make it to my ship and then reappeared in the carrier on a relog, but I still couldn't move it across.

Buying from a FC now updates the ship cargo hold immediately, so you're no longer required to back out and then back in to the Commoditiies Market to have iti updated.

I'm happy :)

Transfer the cargo in small portions. Some will disappear, some will get transferred. Then relog. Repeat until everything is where it should be.
Annoying, but that's currently how it is.
Edit: While buying to the carrier and back again works, it will turn mined commodities into market commodities, as far as I am aware, so take that into consideration.

I'm getting got by this bug quite often the past few weeks. What I've noticed is that if you are transferring a lot and hold your button waiting for the tons to increase, once your cargo is full up it often adds 1t too much to the transfer (so if trying to transfer 400t you get 401t). Then, when confirming the transfer it will give an error.
I'm also getting got by the bug where the transfer seems successful only to arrive at my destination with an empty hold. Somewhat infuriating.
