Cargo hauling to Pliedes

Quick question, just got home after some time away from the game. I remember reading that these stations need commodities/metals for repairs. Is anyone doing long range haulage to Titans daughter etc? Any links on what is required, what the profits are like?

Cheers

From what I've seen on YouTube, your lucky to make 1k profit a ton.

My advice, fill up on passenger cabins, and help refugees escape the repairing stations. Not the most profitable, but better than cargo, and sticks the middle finger to Aegis too.

About the profit routes, I can ask my buddies in MSR… if you want

Yeah Mrat got it, the profit margins are poor for those.

Cheers guy's, I did help with a few refugees when I had an hour to spare last week. Back home now with lots of free time, not too fussed about profits tbh, enjoy long range haulage so 1000K tonne aint too bad.

Actually I agree with sticking the finger to Aegis, a shame some of these refugees don't want to head back to the bubble.

I've done a few runs. You can see the commodities listed at the stations in GalNet. Nice touch using GalNet to actually communicate in-game stuff at the locations where it matters.
Profits aren't terrible, but they're not amazing either. Some of the trips can be a bit of a nice long haul though.

The Oracle is offering ~250k for 8 tons of gold missions, other big pay missions for silver. We're mining a few jumps away at HIP17692(?), interestingly the station in that system was also just attacked. I figure with an Anaconda 3p +gold + silver mining can pay pretty well if you're into the mining side. Regular commodity prices for gold/silver I noticed were about galactic average.

I just took my shiny new mining Type-10 out there and have been doing these missions. I need to up my mining skills though and I don’t know if my build is very optimal. I might just keep at it though, see if I can make back some of the 350MCr I just spent.

Well if it doesn't work, I hear it's a decent trader and thargoid hunter. Just remember, when hunting 'goids, use turrets. People have been complaining about the weapon convergence....

I have a few T9's for mining, very capable. The T-10 will be more than enough for a mining rig. Plan is to purchase two, one as a cheap mining rig, the other as a heavy duty multi purpose.

These mining missions out of the Oracle are spawning endles Deadly Anaconda NPC pirates who I can’t fight off in my mining Type-10. Not really fun at all, not much money to be made when I am constantly having to run away.

Are they wanted? Could run with some wingmen to kill them while you mine, win-win.

I play in Solo. I am going to switch to my Anaconda, then after I deal with these NPC’s I’ll finish the missions so I don’t lose my rep but I am done with mining missions if this is how it’s going to be.

Is this something new? I've never come across a mining mission that spawns NPC's to hunt you. You'll get your typical NPC's spawning at res sites. Just head to deep space and mine endless pristine rings in peace, no NPC's out there.

I dunno wasn’t expecting that. 320kCr bounty for the first one, in my Conda I can fight back with my array of efficient beams, missles, and MC turrets + SLF. Once all the NPC’s are gone from these missions I’ll finish them but then I am done with mining missions my word.

And a deadly Anaconda just killed me. Great. This isn’t fun at all. It’s funny I try something different in the game other than just repeating the Palin mission for the $$$ or doing haulage and cargo and I just get punished for it and lose a ton of credits. Why do so many missions to source mining materials, in a non-combat mining ship have to spawn endless waves of the hardest NPC’s in the game. I’m done with these missions, jettisoning them all and moving on.
