Cargo Hold Filters???

Right Panel/Inventory/Ship Cargo/Filters/Set Cargo Filters
What does a cargo hold filter do?
No matter where I look, the only info I can find refers to limpet filters.

Not very used, by me.

Very useful for re-enabling the carrier "transfer" button when it decides to go to sleep, otherwise I've never used it.

Duh! It helped to actually have something "IN" the cargo hold to see the effect the filters had. I was hoping that the filters would eject unwanted cargo collected by limpets. No such luck.

When you mine some stuff and there is a type you don't want you have to add it to the ignore list.
Left hand panel, Contacts, hove pointer over type of material to ignore and click it.
Hope this is what you wanted to achieve.

That's the Navigation panel filter, not materials/inventory/cargo filters, which is on the right depending n which way your sitting in your ship
