Cargo Mission Bug

Ranking feds in sothis/ceos. Picked up half a delivery in solthis, delivered to Babbage. Went back to sothis, which in the gal map it does have a mission marker. But in the system, no mission markers...so I visited every possible landing and checked every mission board for every faction, which took me nearly 4 hrs...the first time.

Slept, thought I musta missed something...AND CHECKED THEM ALL AGAIN.

Soooooooooooooooooooooo....like, yeah...that was about as fun as repeatedly crushing fingers in car doors. Thx for that.

What’s the deal?

I thought the pickup location for the mission was now IS listed in the transactions panel? Otherwise / also, if you are on a PC then if you use the app EDDiscovery, its missions list shows the pickup (originating) station so it must be in your journal as that is where EDDiscovery gets its info.

EDIT - see my post below (#3)

I was just in game so checked and sure enough in the mission details on the transactions tab of the left-hand UI panel you can see the pickup info:

133535

Hope that helps. :)

I shoulda snapped a pic, in transactions, the pickup system was Sothis...and that’s it, there was no pickup station, however there was a delivery station. So I thought “maybe that’s cause I’m in ceos”. So I jumped to solthis, still no pickup station and no mission markers in nav or system map...THATS when my adventure began.

I assure you, with well over 2000 hrs, every ship and dual elite on the PlayStation -AND- nearly 1500 PC hrs and single elite, I’m familiar with the active mission details.

It musta been a bug.

Now the game did crash during either a 5th or 6th consecutive interdiction...I lose count after about 4 or 5.

That’s another thing I find unrealistic, consecutive interdictions....where the evasion of one overlaps with the beginning of the next to where they seem almost seamless. And especially many of them.

Granted I was in a 448 conda, so I had many, many concurrent cargo hauls...but STILL, it’s just silly being interdicted half a dozen times in a row every supercruise.

Almost as stupid as the neutered yaw all our ships have. Fdev claims “space flight realism” as its holy grail in one breath, and in the next it forces space flight/combat to be governed by some WWII atmospheric conditions.

LLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEE
