Cargo Scoop

Does anybody have an idea why my Cargo scoop does not work on my Scarab? Two missions down the drain because it does not work. It shows deployed and I drive over the object slowly and nothing. Never used the scoop before did I miss something?

You're already carrying cargo?

Maybe it's materials, you already have the max of 300?

I think (at least with materials) you have to target what you want to scoop. It also works that way in a ship, I presume it's the same for cargo in an SRV. Ensure you have the cargo targetted.

There is nothing in the Cargo hold and I have found huge blocks of Gold the radar has taken me to, blasted it to pieces deployed the scoop and slowly roll over the pieces yet nothing they are still laying on the ground. It even shows the scoop deployed on the screen, I don't get it. Yesterday found the escape pod I was looking for then could not pick it up.

As I say you have to target them for it to scoop, you are targetting them?

Also these sound like materials not cargo, you're not at the 300 limit for material are you?

That has to be it I am not targeting it properly. I am completely redoing my voice attack as win 10 somehow screwed it up.
