Cargo storage is already here?

Commander Oogie Boogie made a brilliant suggestion in another thread. You can get cargo storage for £20. All you need to do is start a second account and store your cargo in cargo ships. I already have a second and third account with assets of about half a billion in each to buy nice trade Anacondas.

Is there any flaw in this idea?

I personally have not found a reason to store cargo.
2nd and 3rd account cost money.
You need to log into both accounts at the same time to trade.

Humm that is an interresting way to do it.

Do you use 2 computers to do this ?

I am also hoping we will get modules storage, better if i wanna do dif ship builds and so on.

Apart from being dependent on buying secondary accounts, buying storage ships, manual cargo transfer, logging in and out than in again, and incredibly (for me, at least) time consuming, no- there's nothing wrong with it.
If you have the means, the time, and the patience, sure- but I wouldn't exactly call it a great solution; just a working one :)

More a workaround for a missing feature than a solution. The main flaw would be you have to put your hand in your pocket for it, rather than it being introduced as a feature to solve an issue which was created when the amount of items we needed to keep was increased.

Not to mention the time it will take to get ships with enough storage on that secondary account.

i refuse this sooo much, frontier should have dealt with storage a while ago.
we should not pay more for something that is broken.

I wondered how long the first "OMG FD are trying to force us to buy another account!" comment would show up.
.
They are not doing any such thing and storage is supposedly on the way (Yes, I agree it should already be a thing and is sorely needed IMO).
.
This is just a useful comment for those of us that happen to have more than one account anyway. No one is suggesting you must buy one although I bet a few will do so instead of waiting for storage to show up.

I started a thread about this too fumy enough, yes it works great. I've found the best thing is to leave my alt account about 1Mm from my home station. When I want to transfer cargo I just drop in on the wing beacon of my second account. I got followed in by an NPC the other day though and I had to defend my other self from it..

Dunno, having to pay extra for a basic feature that should have been in from day one maybe.

Limpets and a little organisation are your friend. It took me a single evening to get my new commander into a T-7.

Similar here, two evenings and I had a trade Python and a PVP FAS... It's not like playing through the first time..

I found it safer to leave my second commander just outside the no littering zone at a station in a PG. Even if a pirate drops in with you on your return, they attack you, not your other commander (so far).

Who is suggesting you have to buy another account? Its just a useful tip. If I didn't have another account already I'd just wait until storage turns up.

but who truly enjoy flying the entire bubble with cargo you dont need at that moment or the few days to come.

paying extra money because of the frontiers flaws with storage is wrong! WRONG I TELL YA!
