Cargo transfer to new ship?

Sorry if it's been asked. If I buy an ASP and sell my Cobra, will my cargo transfer?

No it wont, you also cant store a ship that has cargo in it.

No, unfortunately it isn't possible to store a ship with cargo.

Before you switch ships sell the cargo at a station that buys it at a higher price than you have bought it.

With this trick you earn money in selling the cargo

Thats a shame - need to sell my rares the travel all the way back to purchase an ASP. So be it..
