I wish the flight controller would recognize the carrier owner when I'm returning to the carrier. Except for being able to make the carrier jump where I want, the only recognition I get is walking to the command deck lift. The flight controller has many responses that it randomizes. If i had my wish my custom responses would be BOSS and a bonus would be some of the random radio chatter you hear when either on the flight deck or approaching the carrier talking about your arrival.

There's a third-party application called EDCoPilot which allows for custom responses to the carrier owner. It's what I use.

If you want special treatment from your carrier, try blocking a pad - they won't care. There's your ownership privilege.
Seconded. This should be a feature for Carrier owners by default. Same for Architects who land at their own settlements.
I prefer the FC staff to treat me with the respect due to an independent commander rather than that given to a “Pointy Haired Boss”.
Unless they have been reading dedicatory plaques or equivalent there is no reason why the settlers should know who the architect was. However there might be some slight justification for the construction platforms etc knowing who the architect is as they are working with them to build the system for its eventual owners.

The Architect's name is displayed with the system information panel right. So when the architect lands at a settlement, outpost, station it would be appropriate to get a special welcome message. The NPC settlers (colonists) don't have to salute though.
