Just asking as I didn't participate in the Beta. Also what type of hit do we take for turning in data at carriers?
Carrier owners, are there any approach procedures? Etiquette? Do's/Don'ts?

No etiquette, at least none that I know of. Standard docking procedures would apply.
As for selling data, you get 75% of your usual data value. Half of the reduction goes to the carrier's bank (so 12.5% of sale), the other half is "sent to the Pilot's Federation" - in practical terms, gone entirely.
No idea if / how the LYR bonus would apply to this, but it's not like you can maintain that long when you're well away from the bubble. Edit: scratch that, it doesn't.

I don't think it does at all, since the carrier isn't controlled or exploited by LYR.
Oh yeah, I forgot that the LYR bonus only applies if you're selling to LYR-powered stations. Thanks! Disregard that part then.
Thanks, commanders! I'll go about my business in open and hope to catch a contact signal as I wander about. Two carriers are listed as having deployment locations in Acheron and I should still be in this general area for a month so hopefully they'll be able to grind on thru to their destinations. Would love to just stop in, maybe put a patch on this 95% PP, and buy the crews a beer.
