Carrier ships in the future?

Let me start by saying I love ED and is by far the best space game i've played to date.

When I first jumped to the capital ship orbiting earth i was amazed and disappointed. The only reason I was disappointed was because I was very much hoping to be able to dock in the ship and get out of my ship and take a walk around the carrier (when that DLC eventually comes out) so my question is - are there any plans on making a super carrier that can launch fighter craft like vipers and eagles? This in itself would be an amazing site and be fun in combat scenarios.

Will probably happen. Theree has already been discussion about the Anaconda being able to carry... I think it was the Eagle.

Edited to add: Did you not see the docking tunnel on the Imperial ship? You can fly down it to an as yet unworking docking pad.

Some of the the Capital ships have docking ports on them.

Hopefully soon we will have landing in Capital ships. The walking outside your ship is an expansion to be released hopefully the end of next year.
