Carrier traffic jams due to instancing and improper parking- rich commanders grefing the plebs?

Just like tourists could you grief / annoy fellow carrier owners by parking like French motorists? If its one carrier per person I could plonk mine and dominate a CZ instance, forcing someone else to park further away. If I had a squadron I could get others to park theirs to inconvenience other carrier owners, denying space like Sunday vide-grenier parking.

Will 2020 bring traffic wardens? Is this Elite Feet?

Ragnarok times x 10000

But the OT does raise the issue of how instances are governed- take Shin Dez, since you could potentially have thousands of carriers there how are they parked? What order are they parked in? Can you select where they go?
Pretty interested in that too. Cluttering Shin with 4000 additional POIs would be… interesting. I hope FD thought that through 😂

Which saves FD a salt induced headache but further reduces the gameplay potential :/
Yep. I guess SDC, RoA (edit: forgot my friendly german content deliverers), CODE and co. would rub their collective hands on the thoughts of piracing and/or destroying poor souls' persistent Fleet Carriers.

The carriers are nothing compared the Cobra MK-IV. :devilish:
That's why everyone that does not have a Cobra MK-IV wants one. :sneaky:

I can have one but have never owned one, never even sat in one 😂

Also, I have a Carrier thread too. You are all welcome to land on mine.

Which suggests if they are invisible except for permission based approaches they could appear all in the same spot per system, like stacked ship instances.

You made three mistakes in YOUR carrier thread:

  • wall of text
  • no tl,dr
  • no picture

On the other hand you emphasised your celebrity pirate status, but still... I guess Rubbernuke wins that.

But it's very well written.

And there's even a "Make like a tree" joke.

Jeez
