I would suggest that in absense of a bridge view of the hyperspace jump, allow the existing exterior carrier management view to work during the whole jump sequence - it seems desperately unfair to have that available right up until the moment the wormhole opens up - hell there's even a flash of it opening before we are thrown back to hanger view staring at the wall during the most cinematic part of it all, that part that only people not on the carrier get to see.
Sure its not some fancy bridge view of the activity, but it would seem like most of the work has been done and would appease many, inc. me.
