Possibly... but I think with a jump range of 500 light years, I'm thinking there will be systems out there on the very edge of the galaxy, on the far flung fringes of space, that will now be accessible because of the new carriers. I know there are quite a few systems/stars that are unreachable with current jump range limits, even with jumponium/neutron boosting.
