Can anyone let me know if they resolved the Cartographics crash bug yet or is it still unsafe to fly?

No, definitely not fixed. I just moved stations to test further and had to dodge a Python interdiction. Considering collision issues etc, won't be moving again until it's fixed.
For those who aren't aware of this issue, game crashes every time you try and go into Universal Cartographics to sell exploration data. Not sure if it's effecting everyone, but personally I've just returned from a trip specifically to time with 1.1 release and have about 240 systems to claim payment for. Fairly sure there's some 'discovered by' in there too, so really not keen to lose a week's work.

I sold cartographics data last night. No problems.

I would suggest anyone holding pre- 1.1 data will have issues looking at the pattern.
I guess 1.1 is looking for something in your data that was missing in 1.0 - hopefully FD will jump on the ball quickly and run a script to fill in the blanks 1.1 is searching for.
I feel for you as you are now effectively being forced to stop playing - make sure your ticket priority reflects 'unable to play'

About 320 systems. Most of them collected pre patch, about 20 post patch.
Some sold single, most pagewise.

Are you also looking into the 'Universal Carotgraphics Crash to desktop' issue?
I have a lot of data to sell from my exploration trip before the update. But when I open 'UC' as soon as it shows the data to sell (fraction of a second) a crash to desktop occurs. Seems others have the same problem.
But I understand the collision thing is more urgent
I managed to sell about 40 fully scanned systems last night which were all collected pre-1.1
The only problem I had was that I could not access the window to the right showing the individual body price / info with my X52.. forgot to try with a mouse (doh)
I had no "discovered by" pop-up so looks like I need to go further afield before I gain any more of those

I sold 2 pages 10 hours ago, didn't crash.
I managed to get 1 group of 20 from the server on my second attempt. (first one crashed after 60 seconds of standby)
It crashed again after I used sell all, while it was listing the systems I was first to discover.
Since then, and just now, it has crashed every time trying to access universal cartographic, sometimes as quick as 5 seconds, sometimes 60 seconds of standby time later.
One change today, it didn't generate a crash report just now.
(I have about 1400 systems to sell, from Januari 12th onwards)

Just to add my input - I got back from a trip yesterday (like one of the previous posters, I kind of timed it to coincide with the arrival of 1.1 so I didn't get RSI on my mouse clickey finger) and sold, I'd guestimate, 350-400 systems worth of data, a page at a time, no problem. The longest part of the process now is gloating when I get the "discovered by" window pop up listing the bonus.
