So I was doing some PvP bounty hunting in Shin Dez last night, but wasn't really able to be very effective since most players were fighting in wings. I know there are PvP groups out there, but as a casual player do any of them function as a way to find allies to wing with when I want to do something wing-related?

Octavian Vanguard are a relaxed/casual friendly Imperial squadron active mostly in UK/EU TZ on PC/Mac.
We have an interest in multiple activities including PVP and also cooperate with and share intel with other like-minded Imperial Squadrons through shared comms which you could also use to find a wing if no squadron members are available to wing with.

We get a lot of applications, but nobody tells us how many hours they play weekly on average, what their ship's dps is, or what their shoe size is! Scandalous!
This isn't a job interview. It's someone looking for a group to have fun with, so people are advertising their groups. Nobody's gonna do a detailed statistical analysis and breakdown just for special ol' you.
Sure, and asking how big that group is is relevant to the amount of fun that a "CASUAL" player can extract from that group...

Certainly isn't as magical as "best envirement for a gaming Discord" ... Who doesn't want the best envirement for a gaming Discord?! That surely tells the user everything they might want to know about casual gaming within Elite

That is a community server with about 700 people instead of a squadron promotion.
zero tolerance for toxicity and mods that really modding, I would say that is the actual best enviroment for a gaming Discord,
Sounds good, I'm sure your squadron is fine, man. The numbers I asked about are important because I just jump in at random times and for random lengths of time.

Unfortunatly my squadron is about 200ly away from Shinrarta and only accept Imperial commander, but as I said, EDCS is also a good place to hang out with the others!
