Cat cafe instead of a normal restaurant and animal interaction

Wouldn't it be cool, if we can build a cat cafe instead of a normal restaurant in planet zoo.

I hope that we can design the interior of the restaurant, adding platforms for cats to play, scratching board, cat tunnel etc.

I would also like to see guess being able to interact with the cats, like petting them, play with them.

I would also like to see more interaction with animals, for example, able to ride horses or ostrich.

The focus of zoos is "wild" animals not domestic animals. This seems like a very odd juxtaposition. Who pays to go the zoo to sit indoors and play with a housecat? Not to mention the infectious disease nightmare. Cat cafes are generally populated from animal shelters. No zoo would risk exposing their expensive big cat populations to parasites, and deadly diseases like FIV. Feral cats are pests that zoos have to implement various techniques to keep out of exhibits and prevent from stealing food.
This would also be a confusing educational point. The primary goal of zoos should be education of the general public. Domestic cats are a huge detriment to wildlife and have led to or are still leading to the extinction of dozens of species worldwide.

I love cats! I don't personally see much difference from keeping a wild cat enclosed to a domestic cat enclosed. Surely the cats would all be vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed and monitored for conditions such as FHIV. They are not feral. They also wouldn't intermingle with the wild ones, or be eating wildlife as they are indoors.

The primary purpose of zoos is entertainment, (sadly) as that is what they were originally created for back in the day. Education of conservation is a newer thing. (And more important than to me than entertainment). Though you could argue you could use it as an educational point about feral cats. I am not personally sure how I feel about cat cafes in general as cats often do not like lots of strange people touching them. But a domestic cat exhibit would be interesting to me. I am sure a cat would really enjoy a more natural enclosure than a domestic enclosure, as they were meant to have lived.

I love the idea of a cat cafe additional to normal restaurants and stuff.
To be honest, i would even like cats as normal zoo animals or as free roaming "guests". ^^
