Ok, so death isn't in the game, but 'A Fate Worse Than Losing Your Ship' doesn't have the same ring to it...
So I got caught carrying some cargo I picked up at a USS, no big deal right? Just pay the fine and lesson learnt.
However the reputation loss seems to be HUGE. After days of trying to correct it, the Empire are still 'Hostile' to me.
Suggestion: Could (should) we get a chance to redeem ourselves (at least to the reputation level just below neutral) via some sort of mission that you don't get paid for? I know we have philanthropy missions, but nobody trusts me enough to offer those missions to me.
I could get reputation for trading, but I'm in an Eagle that is equipped for combat (no cargo space). I did do some trading, but not enough to make a difference clearly.
It seems very easy for a combat oriented player to loose rep, and very hard to gain it.
