Caustic damage

Is there any way to halt caustic damage apart from by docking somewhere? I finally managed to solo a Thargoid tonight[up] with me having only a couple of % of hull left but caustic damage got rid of this within a minute and killed me[down]. Or do I just need to git gud?

I think hull repair limits remove it.

Caustic damage is DOT [Damage over time] so repair limpet's may repair but, once done, the DOT continues. At least, this is my understanding. Feel free to correct if anyone has tested this.

There are hull and module reinforcement packs, that provide caustic resistance. Maybe they will help.

I think those got patched out. They were presumably included too early by mistake.

Can't remember what size and rating of repair controller I have at the moment but, first time getting hit with caustic I had to run so figured I'd try the repair limpets. It slowed the tick but, definitely didn't remove it. Limped back to the closest base and made it with 2%. My wingmate decided to try disconnecting and reconnecting, no success and lost his corvette.
