Astronomy / Space CELESTRON NEXSTAR 102SLT - any thoughts

Was thinking about investing in a telescope that I can use to take photo's of celestrial objects, planets, nebula and the like. Came across the following and wondered what others thought?

CELESTRON NEXSTAR 102SLT

Are there better alternatives outhere for ex. or if anyone else has got one of these and could tell me what you thought of the scope that would be great. My budget would be about £350.

This is as good as you will get for the price point, and any telescope you buy should be one you will use a lot. I made the mistake of buying a really large one and hardly used it. I was so into it, that I didn't consider practicalities such as this. If you can afford it, I'd recommend a GOTO telescope if you can with as large an aperture as you can afford.

It's not the easiest thing to get good results with, and you will always want more aperture!
