Well... like the title says... ceos is fully operational once again. I thank all my fellow commanders that helped deliver meta-alloys there.

There was a Herald story at Ceos indicating that a few factions brought in a combined 3300 tonnes of MAs. Very good CMDRs. Well done. I also know of many other CMDRs that brought in substantial amounts as well, including myself (a personal contribution of 2000 tonnes of MAs prior to today.) But that only got the station partially operational. There were still no missions earlier today, however more MAs arrived, including the 250 I brought a few hours ago, and yes, it now seems to be back in order.

For cmdr poopypants and his diaper brigade, you lost. You cannot even claim a moral victory in the scientists findings that an early MA delivery will help cure the UA bombings faster. You know we preloaded Sothis with MAs and quashed your attempts to take it down. The scientists were able to see how they interacted with the UA bombing as it occurred.

Yes folks, the stations in Sothis are still at risk. Although we have stopped the current attempt to bring it down, it could still go. I STRONGLY suggest that people continue to drop off MAs at the stations there. Doesn't have to be many, but if each CMDR brings a half dozen or so per trip into the system, then there will be absolutely no way a UA bombing will take hold. Never.

Congratulations to all those Cmdrs who rose to the challenge of hauling alien materials to the afflicted stations. Lets just hope none of the alien tech had any method of being tracked by their manufacturers.
Hmmm. Just arrived at New Dawn (08/30/2016 - 10:30pm EDST) There are missions in Open Play mode but not in Solo Play mode (0/0 all factions). Spamming didn't help. So . . . not 100% after all. 
Still plenty of credit in long-haul delivery missions tho!
Update: As of 08/31/2016 - 01:30am EDST, on arrival at New Dawn missions are available in both Open and Solo Play modes and it would appear that Ceos/New Dawn is in fact up and running in both gaming modes.
Donations of meta-alloys are being requested by both Ceos/New Dawn and Sothis/Newholm as a prophylactic measure to prevent another interruption of services thru UA bombing.
Just ran a long-range lap of deliveries back from Newholm to the bubble and returned to New Dawn up another 43 million, that's NET (after all expenses) and includes spending several million on "donation" missions along the way.

Don't need to bring huge amounts... bring what ya can. They are for sale in the maia system at Darnielle's Progress on the the planet that obsidian orbital station orbits.
Last time i was there you could by 11 Meta-Alloy every ten minutes. Up from the previous 6 every ten minutes.
Just bring what ya can.
Thanks for clearing that up for me! Should be no problem to pick up 11 or 22 each time I fly to Ceos then.
Can you still get MAs from shooting barnacles? Especially regarding this list:

Sorry if these are stupid questions, but I cold not find a definitive (and up-to-date) answer to these.
Apparently it is possible but, with all the news about aliens and wars I wonder if it makes good sense to go shooting up a possible alien life-form just to farm meta-alloy? What if a "Barnacle Site" is really just the above-ground part of a fairly large egg or embryo? Powerful aliens show up and find humans shooting up their babies, they might get a little upset.
It's a bit late for sentiment after the industrialization of Barnacle vandalism that has occurred over the last six months!
