Lave radio network (Fed puppet?) vs the alliance (or one of the alliance factions in system). Pure combat focused CG. If the alliance wins the system flips back to being alliance controlled. (with Lave Radio possibly being flipped to alliance, or exiled from lave if they lose?) I am not sure what the result should be if the alliance loses. Maybe LRN gets a capital ship or a mega ship?

Not going to happen. Its a player fraction.
Back in the day FDEV dropped a CG into the system SMAC was based out of at the time, for another fraction, having not checked the system properly. They effectively just recruited thousands of commands to fight our fraction, after we had just won three back and forward wars against the fraction the CG was for, that was an NPC fraction, but propped up by another group looking to oust us.
By 10 am the morning I was in convos with devs with them apologising and saying they had not realised and how they would lock the BGS in system to stop all out work getting wiped out.
Lave radio is a player fraction. Regardless of what you think of them, or Lave, FDEV are not going to shaft them or do so thing to 'their' fraction without their full consent.
