If you are planning on taking part in the latest CG, pack as many Research Limpet Controllers as you can!
Little chance to purchase these on site as Fleet Carrier stocks are being snapped up immediately.
It's a long way back if you decide you need more.

If you're not sure where to get them, then High-Tech and Military surface bases are the only places that stock them (Jameson and other universal outfitters aside), and even then they need to have a fairly decent outfitting level.

I found I have to visit 6 stations before I actually found them. I used eddb.io but a lot were old data appearently and the controllers were not in stock
