Why use lightweight on military and why does it need to be pre engineered?
The gap between lightweight engineered with heavy duty and military engineered with lightweight is small enough that it can be closed better with less weight penalty with engineered hull reinforcements. So the use case for a fast combat vessel is small.
The other problem is that armour is specific to shops so would have to be awarded for one or several specific ships making the use cases even smaller!
Typically pre engineered modules come with 2 engineering. What would you twin it with?

I know it could be difficult to implement, but it would be interesting if they made it so that the rewarded armour were specific for the ship you use to dock at the station to pick it up (no transfer allowed, this time: collection in person only!).

If you can't afford to outfit a ship you probably shouldn't fly it anyway.
But FSDs, PD turrets, Fragmentation Cannons can be fitted to any ship so are a great reward.
Pre-engineered Military Armour (Type-6) will only fit on Type-6s so would be a terrible reward for most of us.
