CG Rewards needs to be balanced!

Top 70% and 5mil reward with just 112k bonds.....got back 50 times more then i invested.

Think rewards need some rework.

Kinda agree. I usually do just enough for 70% (with some buffer) so I get the maximum return for my "investment".

I don't open this kind of topic because people will just accuse me of not wanting people getting as "rich" as me (which happened in discussions several times)...

I agree its probably a bit much but scaling it to specific ships is kinda bad. It would work for the lower tiers but being able to get into the higher tiers easier is very good for late game play.

Missions and high end profit plateaus after getting a Vulture (able to RES farm and do assassinations). Only way of getting better high end profit is grinding trading or do CG's.
I mean a full Conda combat loadout is about 600mil, more depending on how much bling you want. Having a few high paying CG's is the only decent way to do it at the moment without grinding.

Final edit: I'm saying this a lot but wait for powerplay, should be some significant changes to the CG's. (I know 1.3 isn't a magic bullet but I don't really like to argue/discuss things that are scheduled for change). :)

Right now I refer to the CGs as "free money". Minimum participation almost guarantees a return of several million credits.

Those CG's are actually making me want to play and try to reach elite. Without a CG I simply despise trading. I only do it to help a community goal. I frankly don't care if someone does the bare minimum for maximum profit as it does help me as well as everyone taking part widens the Top 5 and Top 15 and even more so the Top 40 and Top 70 count. I like that there is a way that if you put effort in you actually get a shot at an Anaconda even if you don't play 24/7. You got to lure most of the people to a community goal to take part and most people are just enthusiasted by mere profit. My profit is the fun I have playing. The profits are fine maybe adjust a little in the Top 100 and Top 70 to make people do more for the goal but the main reason of getting into Top 70 so easy is that there are so many people out there just doing 1 thing towards the goal to get into the earnings at all.

Your example is a bit OP I agree, but I'd say trading CGs are good as they are. Using the diamondback one as an example, you're lucky to get 1000+ cr/t in total, which is half of what you'd usually get. Then it makes sense for the reward to be approximately 2500*tons collected, maybe 3000 to compensate for the extra risk of piracy or murder. Now this isn't how it works, I'm getting about 1/3 of this (12 million reward for 14k tons). CG started out as a joke and are now a viable and arguably more fun way of actually getting money. Some of them need tweaking when it comes to time invested and reward for sure.

+1
After the New Yembo CG I quit the trade ones. utterly useless.
Gave the wolf 406 a chance and surprisingly a nice profit.
CG's are worthy to do now.

Surely the main thing about CG's is getting a lot of commanders interacting in the same location, the Diamondback CG initially attracted just traders followed by pirated and then bounty hunters after the pirates, the gameplay went from tedious grind to dodging interdictions and making a run for the station great stuff!

I actually spent only 15min fighting for CG and the rest of time was for Sobek in open.
Must say it was fun.
