[CG : SEPP] 2nd week, and my worries ?!?!

So this week we have to go in to combat to find/steal blueprints off NPCs ?
I know something like this was coming as we "traded" on the 1st CG, but no matter how you look at it, and knowing some explorers do combat, there are many more who will not be interested in this week's CG.
We as explorers, have many disadvantages , not least of all having many of our members being 1000s of LYs from the bubble. The "others" can easily stop their activities , like pewpew & bounty hunting(not forgetting missions & trading) without any loss to their goals, and do this week's exercise.
On the other hand this CG is ,for the use of a better word, very oxymoronic for explorers as most of us don't want to fight, trade, do missions or participate in PP(which this Tournament is for).
I doubt very much that the 3rd week will have "exploration data" handing in as its goal, heaven forbid !

I will be back tomorrow, and will be getting in to this . Please find time to participate, we need all of you.

My point is because we are a very specialised group of Cmdrs, I reckon the only way we would ever get any major content like this is if it given to us. That is a good start point for FD to see how we manage it, and whether we make it grow.

Mate, totally behind you and the other Cmdrs that are actively participating in the games not only for yourselves but also for the benefit of those of us that, for whatever reason, are not taking part. I've seen comments from other Cmdrs about the irony of the mission types and their total misfit with the way most explorers want to enjoy the game and, I have to agree with their questioning of the rationale.

I wish you and all other exploramanders that are 'doing their bit' the very best of luck

I think FD has puchased a huge boatload of RNG sometime (was really cheap!). Now that they can't get rid of it as easily as they wanted through engineer mechanics without a lot of uproar, they use it to determine CGs, story line, etc.
