Newcomer / Intro CH Flightstick Pro docking problem

Hi, I am new to the Elite universe. I have installed the game and have been orienting myself and my controls.
I have a CH Flightstick Pro. I set up my thrusters to work by the POV switch. Left/right, up/down, and they work fine in space. But when it comes to docking, it is disabled.
Now before you suggest I set the POV up for docking in the configuration menu, I already did.
I'm not sure if I should load the driver disk for the Flightstick because everything is functioning otherwise and it is recognized by Windows 7 64bit.
Maybe the answer is simple and I have been staring at this too long and can't see the forest for the trees?

Hey Ism,

Have you also set the POV to control thrusters in Flight Override mode in the config settings?

Do you have the throttle as well ? . Don't forget to use the CH Control Master software to set up your own profile on your joystick.

Yes, that's what I meant by docking config, sorry I didn't use the proper description. My keys work but the POV doesn't for some reason.

Just a heads up, it started working on its own. No changes made by me. Maybe something to do with interaction to server??
Anyhow, I'm happy.
