Hardware & Technical CH Pro Throttle dead zone?

Mine gets "noisy" regularly, but living in a high humidity environment I expect that. I slide the thing back and forth a dozen times to wear off the oxidation and it's usually better. However it never does fine throttle adjustments well. Mine has a particularly annoying habit of hanging in the 100-105 speed range when I try to throttle down to 90-95 for the no-fire zone. I try to throttle down smoothly but it hits 103 or so and hangs there, and I have to jiggle it a bit to get it under 100 without going straight to 75. An annoyance, but not a big deal for what I do.

Interesting. I live about a five minute walk from the beach so oxidation is an issue here as well, though I'm not sure that was the cause of my troubles. Funny as CH have such a solid reputation but throttle issues apparently are a thing.

Physical contact sliders are just never going to be very good. Needs a Hall effect version. Everything else works pretty well, though, and it is a paradise of button choices which is a rarity in this menu-driven era.

Could be right. I'm curious about the new thrustmaster throttle when it comes out.
