Ch Throttle and 16000M - NEED Binding file

Elite Dangerous should recognise multiple controllers - what specific issues are you having? I use a T.16000M in conjunction with Thrustmaster Cougar MFDs and a gaming mouse.

Honestly just trying to see if someone could share their binding file so I could work off their setup. I hear this setup is the cheapest best HOTAS setup however I am having issues finding the right type of setup for this throttle and stick combo.

It's a REALLY personal thing. I could give you my file (which is a work in progress), but I doubt you'd like it. I can't even give you a button map, as it is all just based on what makes sense to me, but if you want it... I'm happy to email it or put it in a public drop box folder...

I don't have the binding file here, sorry. If you're still looking this evening, I'll happily share it.

From memory:

Pitch: Y-Axis;
Roll: X-Axis;
Yaw: Z-Axis (stick twist);

Trigger 1 and 2 are mapped to the sticks front and rear triggers respectively;

Select target in front: top hat up/fwd;
Select next target: top hat right;
Select previous target: top hat left;
Select next subsystem: Right hand stick top trigger button;
Select previous subsystem: Left hand stick top trigger button;

I don't use the stick's base buttons - I tend to use the keyboard or MFDs instead.

Thrust Up: Cursor Up;
Thrust Down: Cursor Down;
Thrust Left: Cursor Left;
Thrust Right: Cursor Right;
Thrust Fwd: Home;
Thrust Aft: End;

Next Fire Group: ]
Previous Fire Group: [

Deploy/Retract Hardpoints: Return;
Landing Gear (toggle): L
Cargo Scoop (toggle): K
Enter / Exit Super-Cruise: J
Engage Hyper-Drive: CTRL-J

Left HUD Menu: Keypad 1;
Centre HUD Menu: Keypad 2;
Right HUD Menu: Keypad 3;
To move about in the HUD menus I use the tophat to navigate in a pane; top-stick-right for next pane; top-stick-left for previous pane; front trigger for select; back trigger for "go back".

Pips to SYS: 1;
Pips to ENG: 2;
Pips to WEP: 3;
Balance Pips: 4;

Chaff: C
Heatsink: H

FA-OFF (toggle): Keypad 7;
Reverse Thrust (toggle): Keypad 9;

Boost: Keypad Enter;

Comms: Z
Navigation in comms is bound the same as HUD menu navigation.

In-station menus are also bound the same as HUD menu navigation.

Hope that helps a bit.

Just bind the basics - pitch, roll, throttle, boost and so on, then take your ship out in solo and bind as you go along to what seems most natural to you at the time.

It takes a wee while to get all your bindings set, but it has the advantage that they're your bindings, and you won't soon forget them. I always have loads of trouble with default bindings and make a point of creating my own.

Can someone help. 2nd try at posting.m.y first post didnt come up for someone reason.

I can send you my binds file when I get home. If you still want it by then

CH Pro
3 buttons : landing gear, FA off, and a shift key
Front hat : boost, 75%, hyperspace, super cruise
Top hat : power management using voice attack macros, but can be used without
Mini stick : fwd/rev up/down thrusters, click to toggle headlook with FaceTrackNoIR
Mid hat : nav panel, system panel, comms panel, galaxy map, and with throttle shift role panel and SRV turret
Bottom hat : heatsink, sheild cell, chaff, target next sub system

T16000M
roll, pitch, yaw (throttle slider not used)
primary & secondary fire, with throttle shift button : next fire group & retract hardpoints
Left button : target ahead (or next target with throttle shift button)
Right button : hostile (or next hostile with throttle shift button)
Hat : Left/Right thrust, and a duplicate up/down thrust (thinking of re-using this)
Other buttons on the base for slient running, cargo scoop, system map, request docking (via macro), next waypoint in route, lights, some duplicates for heatsink, chaff, shield sell, next sub system

Not had the CH Pro throttle very long, so still experimenting and removing duplicates

It's a great combination, and I can't think why I would want anything more

I want to thank everyone for their help. For an old guy its a pretty daunting task trying to figure out what all the controls do and to bind them. Its so complicated. I appreciate everyones attempt to help me. Truly a great community thank you!!!

I have a Saitek X52 hotas and this TM160000 as well.. although cheaper, I really like the 16000's resolution and feel.. I'm still thinking about a way to combine it with the Hotas.
But then, hours and hours of muscle memory have to be retrained :)
