General / Off-Topic Chair headrest

Seems a bit awkward to get some sort of headrest attached. Can't you find a new chair with a proper adjustable headrest? Sorry for the useless "help" I hope someone has a better idea.

If you can not change or modify the armchair, then perhaps fix a foam strip (or something else) on the wall (at the height of back of the armchair) , And lean the armchair against the wall. If it is feasible

Hi, if you are in your chair a lot I'd recommend some memory foam padding.

A quick search of amazon will provide you with cushions, back rest and neck supports plus you can get a travel pillow / scarf that has a neck support and attaches with velcro.

The back rest is listed as being 66mm high.

That is pretty high.

Can you get a suitable cushion to fix to the top?

The problem with attaching a headrest is how to fix it on. There used to be car seat head rest which slotted over the back of the car seat. But the last car I had which needed one of those was a Morris 1000 in the early 70s.

Thanks for the ideas. It *is* a tall back, but then I am 6'5" in height, so tall is somewhat relative.

I'll keep looking. In my mind I think I am also imagining the head rest which might well have worked nicely in the Morris 1000. (I remember we had a Morris 1000 van when I was very small).
