Hi, everyone! Update 6 is such an amazing update and I've been loving it so far! I have some ideas I'd love for them to be implemented in sandbox to make it similar to challenge mode, if not more challenging. Here are some ideas:
1. Have the option to enable narrative events (the random pop-up messages from challenge mode). It makes replaying the maps more interesting and fun.
2. Let us enable negative limited lifespan (Inspired by Southwest USA). Any negative combat or health trait a dinosaur/reptile has decreases their lifespan by 90%.
3. Since there is an option to decrease task time, why not implement an option to increase task time? Increase it to 110% to even 200% (double the time research, synthesis, incubation, and construction takes).
4. An option similar to task time is to increase or decrease task cost (Inspired by UK and Canada). The default would be 100%. It can be increased to make it more challenging and think strategically or decreased to make it easier and give first-time players a way to practice challenge mode if they so desire. Minimum should be 10% and maximum should be 200%. This can affect research, synthesis, incubation, etc.
5. An option to adjust scientist salaries (Inspired by some maps). This can be one of the reasons the harder difficulties can be difficult to start since some scientists are expensive to hire. The default (according to the in-game files) is 75%. It can be increased or decreased. Minimum should be 10% and maximum should be 300% (Southwest USA's maximum staff salary)
6. An option to adjust terrain editing costs. Default is 100%. Minimum is 10% and maximum should be 500% (Southwest USA and UK-inspired).
7. An option to enable or disable genetic modifications (inspired by Germany).
8. An option to incubate dinosaurs at a set genome percentage (also inspired by Germany). Default is 50%. It can be decreased to 10% (why not) and increased to 100%.
9. An option to enable or disable fussy and intelligent traits for the dinosaurs/reptiles (inspired by the chaos theory challenge maps).
10. An option to limit certain sets of buildings (inspired by some maps). It can be up to the players to limit how many staff centers, shelters, or power stations they can make.
11. An option to adjust ticket price. Default would be 360 (the original park building chaos theory maps). Do not set it to low, medium, high. Let players set the numbers they desire. They can set it to 200, 400, 600, 800, and so on.
