hmmm surprisingly bland, i would agree... it would have been better if the green rex from JP3 or the raptor skins from TLW or JP3 as well... tsss now i feel they really have rushed this, along with the bugs in 1.4 for PC. anyone got pics for deinonychus jungle skin?
i don't wanna say any negative stuff about the game coz i love the JP franchise from the bottom of my heart, but for frontier on the other hand hmmmm. for me the problem is they showed a live stream for 1.4 and just challenge mode to show in the final patch notes and some the other stuff and fixes that SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE TO BEGIN WITH. i gotta agree now that for a game with AAA price tag this sucks. there is no incentive for replayability. every single park looks the same, say for a different design. the attractions are lackluster. after thinking about this long and hard JPOG had more content. they had a balloon ride and viewing dome for God's sake. the mod support kept the game interesting at best.
for JWE on the other hand there a lot of buildings, but they are useful only in campaign mode. they don't offer anything when playing sandbox in terms of being decorative. they just consume the valuable space.
but for 1.4 my biggest gripe with the game is this.....
1. they said that it was impossible to resize the dinos and islands due to issues with the save files.
2. after some time they do announce that they ARE able to resize the dinos.
3. 1.4 is announced and ITS FREE. they keep on emphasizing its FREE. bcoz they already earned a lot of money from the games initial release.
4. 1.4 goes live and GUESS WHAT, some players' save files do have issues. for some of those who don't they hurrah congrats to you guys. but for some this is a major letdown.
frontier were you pressured to release this update after realizing that it should have been there to begin with? as seen in steam's statistics from youtubers less than 5000 players on pc now play in a 24 hr average. IDK about ps4 and xbox tho... but i am so disappointed now in this game.
the previous issue with the nvidia driver crash is still present.
Lots of games have no replayability. Nothing new there...
They kept emphasizing it was free because people are dumb. From what I heard, a large amount of people were asking if a simple patch would cost money. Granted, the patch (for some people anyway) is a poor patch breaking more than it fixed, like lots of other patches for other games. That's the price you pay nowadays due to the internet; it's made developers lazy.

personally when I can't tell if a new "feature" is working as intended or bugged then the devs haven't put any thought into the feature, the lighting option is my biggest gripe, it would have been great fun to start a new game and have the options to play the starting island at night and enjoy the fixes to dinosaur behavior but no, with their complete lack of knowledge about enjoyable game play they thought "we wont add any replayability, we'll restrict this feature to an already completed playthrough"

first off, lots of games (esp open world and sandbox games) do have replayability in them. JWE lacks that...
second what i meant in my #1 and #2 is that firs they say it's impossible to change the size without causing issues, then later they do announce it. problem here is they didn't explain clearly what happened in between. either they never gave it much effort or they were just not willing to try it out in the first place. as for the reasons and disclosing them to the public i digress.
and lastly other games who release updates / patches or whatever that have issues, the developers release hotfixes or statements or do something about them... not mere silence afterwards. it's been more than 24hrs already for sure they've known about all these issues by now. but in the bug report they just keep saying send us your dxdiag and upgrade your drivers and we'll get back to you.... also the nvidia issue still hasn't been fixed and it's been a month from now. i was expecting this patch to fix that but no...

For the hassle you have to go through to get the Indominus Rex Coastal Skin, it is a bit of a disappointment for sure. They had a good opportunity to make a nice skin that stood out from the others, but instead went with a bland solid black coloration, when we already have two black I-rex skins . My biggest gripes about the skin itself is that the solid black eyes just look terrible, which if they were something like bright green, it could've atleast been more interesting. Some areas also appear to be incorrectly textured - in the screenshot below, you can see some of the little teeth are blue.
Best Skin ever! I Love it ! thats the Perfect Counterpart to the Original one !
