Does anyone have any tips about any of the maps or modes I haven’t tried yet? it would help me out alot!

For NW USA, you're mostly limited to carnivores and that's okay. The map is separated into three big sections. Put your science, expedition, staff and energy buildings on the section furthest from the park entry, so you can freely build on the first two ones.
Due to the map layout, I'd advise against aviaries and lagoons. Land exhibits are fine and do well with the space.

Over time, try getting full genomes for Tyrannosaurus and Velociraptor, as well as at least 25% giganoto. To unlock Indomius, you need 25% each of giga and velo, as well 100% rex, and for Indoraptor you need to have created one Indominus and also have a full velo genome. Those two will give your park a neat lategame rating boost.

Finally, I'd advise against park tours. My qianzhous were aggressive and kept damaging or destroying cars, but when I rerouted it, my formaly chill ceratos decided they didn't like cars now either.
