If Wikipedia is to be trusted, in the second day of January in 1964 was born one David Braben in West Bridgford Nottingham.

Well since he has not made a single live stream appearance in over what 2 years clear to say he has sold his side of the business and jump ship. But hey as a I.T coder i would never release such garbage as this new update where 90% of the stuff isn't working, way to go Fdev.

Ok, Ok then happy b day, but how do you let your devs release this update with your name on it. I can understand a few bugs, but alot of bugs plus the other bugs from the other updates and the ones before that. Not trying to be a jerk but i mean what gives, if i have a deadline to meet at work and on release date there is only a few as in 2 bugs maybe 3 then no biggy, but if i were to release a update with so many problems and issues and not even fix them i would be fired from my job.

that doesn't count, only reason was for charity to make more money, other than that not a single time on live stream wait i may be wrong he was on the charity stream the year before. Hmm kinda follows a pattern. But hey my feels are not hurt.

Yes ok a charity stream to get more money, have any of you devs actually played the game to see all the problems you clearly left in the game update for ch4. And you also had all this reported in the ch4 beta and yet its not fixed and you still released it.

No problem, clearly you don't see the problem eh, when obsidian ant and yamaks clearly say this update was a joke and nothing was even done about it during and after beta for ch4, and was even reported during the beta and yet you still release a update that is broke from hell and back. Charity event or not there is no reason for such a broken update. The only few things that i can see that are working decent is mining and the some of the mission boards and the haz res sites.

If it wasn't for David we wouldn't have Elite dangerous. I'm pretty sure that he got the wheels turning with the crowd funding request. I am certain he still keeps a close eye on Elite Dangerous developments but I guess there comes a time when you step back and watch the new blood build upon his magnificent ideas. If I was as successful as him I would probably do the same. I might just rock up to the office now and then just to check on quality control.

To a point your right, i did how ever say happy birthday, Sending them emails does nothing, but to not seem like a i will leave it at happy birthday.
