Change Commander Name

How can i change my Commander's name? After the wipe before gamma i could not get back my original commander name. The system said, it's used (oh yes, shortly after the wipe?). So i used another name in hope, that they will wipe everything at release and i can get back my original name.
So there was no wipe... :-/

Therefore my question: How can i change my commanders name WITHOUT resetting my profile?

Oh, there's a ticket for this at the FD support site since a lot of weeks, but they never answer to tickets... :-(

do we know if there's a reason for that? I'd love to change my commander name too but I'm not going to reset my save anytime soon...
