Change donation bins so they don't reset every year

In beta donation bins showed their total donations rather than their yearly donations. I find it far harder to keep track of which animals are my big earners now they reset every year. I have to watch the clock and make sure I pause in December and go around all the habitats to see how much they have at that specific time. Woe betide if I forget and it rolls around to January and they're all set back to 0 again. And even if I do remember, if I want to keep track of it over time I have to write it down somewhere so I can compare it with the next year, and so on.

Ideal would be a better breakdown somewhere of monthly, annual and all-time donations per bin and per habitat, but barring that changing the behaviour back so it shows me the total over the bin's lifetime would be much better than what we currently have.

In beta I had one donation bin by my peafowls that racked up nearly 200k in donations. It was ages before I realised they were resetting now and I was scratching my head as to why my current peafowls were only bringing in a couple of thousand.

I really want them to expand the financial information available. Even if bins don't reset you still have to go around and add them all up. Plus that doesn't tell you about income coming from "Adoptions".

I need more financial metrics

How much income is a habitat bringing in? I can add up donation boxes by hand but that's stupid, and it only gives me information for that one year and only if they don't get deleted. It also doesn't cover "Adoptions" nor is there a way to distinguish from multiple habitats with the same animal...

Completely agree. There should be much more financial information available. The finances tab at the moment is pretty sparse. It's been useful for me to see how it was more cost efficient for me to make the initial outlay on green energy in order to save on power costs over time, and it's been useful to get a quick look at how animal feeding costs are outstripping staffing costs at the moment, but I can't drill down on any of that information to see what's really going on. It feels a little like an afterthought, rather than a useful part of the game's mechanics.
