Newcomer / Intro Change download destination

Hi

I'm trying to download the Alpha public test of Odyssey but it is trying to download it into a folder that is already full and therefore fails.

My copy of Horizons is in the folder that isn't full and any normal game updates download with no issues, so I'm not sure why it is trying to put it somewhere else. I can't seem to find an option to change the destination folder for the new update.

Any ideas?

That sounds odd. Mine downloaded into the same folder as my Horizons install.

When you say "folder full"... never seen that before either. Is your drive partitioned and therefore restricting you?

Yes. C drive is small for running windows. D has everything else. (I didn't partition it that way.) I have set things up so everything I normally download goes into D but Odyssey seems to be an exception.

odyssey will download and install to the same folder as the ED launcher and ED:H

if you want ED:O on another drive then you either need to reinstall ED to another disk
or
move (cut\paste) your ED install to the other disk - re-point or re-create your ED shortcuts

once ED is on an alternate disk Odyssey will install to the ED folder as normal

you can not have ED:H On one disk and ED:O on a second disk - without creating a symbolic link

note: if you use steam\epic the move or installation must be handled by steam

One other thing which might be troublesome is if you already have a Public_Test_Server_64 directory from a previous Beta or whatever, just delete that if so.
